O.P.I Can't Find My Czechbook

Good afternoon, dear readers!

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend and Happy Easter!

I recently picked up O.P.I's Can't Find My Czechbook from the Euro Centrale collection.  I got it for two reasons: one being that it is a stunning blue (my favourite polish colour to collect :D) and the other because of the name.  My grandfather moved to Canada from Czechoslovakia (when it was still the two countries combined into one) so this polish was perfect to me :D.  I like my last name because it reflects that heritage, and because my family are the only ones with that name in the phone book XD.

So here it is:

Isn't that lovely??

This shade of blue does bring out some redness in my skin tone, but I don't care so much because the blue is just gorgeous!

What are your thoughts on Can't Find My Czechbook?

Have a wonderful day!

Born Pretty Store Review - Pearls and Rhinestones and Chanel Resort 2013 Inspired Manicure

Good evening, dear readers!

Tonight I have a review of some products from the Born Pretty Store.

First up are the pearls I recieved:

There are a lot in that wheel, in three different sizes.  Each size has 4 compartments.  They come in 4 mm, 3 mm and 1.5 mm, and on the website it says that there are about 1200 pieces in total.

And then the acrylic rhinestones:

That is a LOT of rhinestones!!! :D These ones are in 2mm.  I am so excited to use both the rhinestones and the pearls. :D  I can see these lasting me a long time!

Below are a set of nails I did using both the pearls and the rhinestones:

Whee so much fun!! :D  I was inspired by Chanel's Resort 2013 collection. :D

I highly recommend both products, and am so happy that I was able to review them!  They are fun and easy to use, and beatiful to boot. :D  I will use them for many manicures to come.

(Also, for 10% off any order at The Born Pretty Store, use the code CBJ61)

I hope that you have an awesome evening!!

Twinsie Tuesday - Favourite Polish Colour

Good morning, dear readers.

For this edition of Twinsie Tuesday we were to pick our favourite polish colour.  My favourite polishes are blue-greys (bleys).

Seeing as I swatched Girly Bits Stormy Skies not too long ago (one of my all-time favourite polishes), I decided to wear O.P.I I Don't Give a Rotterdam and spruce it up with a coat of Girly Bits Hocus Pocus.

I included both flash and no-flash photos so you can see some of the holographic goodness :D

Omnomnom!

What are some of your favourite polishes?

Don't forget to check out the other Twinsies:

Have an amazing day! :D

Lord of the Rings Map Nail Art

Good super early morning, dear readers!

Today I have a set of false nails to show you!!  I have been working on these for a little while, and over time I will continue adding more to make the map larger. :)

I love Lord of the Rings, and I didn't see any map manicures online (except for the Hobbit), so I decided to do some!!

I am really excited about these and I am looking forward to making more of them to add to the ones I already have! :D  Plus, this helps me realise how close the different places in LoTR are on the map (I didn't realise that Fangorn was so close to Isengard, but that makes sense now because of the Ents attacking it).

There are some differences in these compared to the actual maps, as following them too closely would take me forever.  I also did my mountains differently.

However I look forward to making my nail map bigger and bigger :D!!

I hope that you have an amazing day! :D

Blue and White Rococo Nails

Good afternoon, dear readers!

Today I wanted to share with you a mani I did after being inspired by Rococo clothes and Chanel's Resort 2013 collection. :)

I used three different blues for this: Orly Blue Collar, Sinful Colors Cinderella and a blue China Glaze that I have already forgotten the name of. XD  I then painted the design in white and turquoise acrylic paint:

And although you can barely see the difference in these photos, here it is with a matte top coat:

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day!!

Color Club Hydrangea Kiss

Good evening, dear readers!

I hope that everyone has been having a great weekend so far. :D  Mine has been a mix of bad and good (the bad part being my stupid brain being stupid), the good being having people visit and hanging out with people that I love :).

The other evening I did this manicure and I decided to post it now.

The stunning polish is Color Club Hydrangea Kiss.  This is a super gorgeous polish, and is one of my favourites out of my entire collection. :D  It is not chalky at all, and I guess it could be classified as a crelly.

The white is acrylic paint.

Have a fantastic evening!!
