Good afternoon, dear readers! :D
A little while ago I was contacted by a representative from Born Pretty, an online store which carries cosmetics and cosmetic related items (nail polish and nail art supplies included in the cosmetics category). She asked if I would be interested in reviewing a couple products, and I happily said yes! :D
I was sent these wonderful items to review:
A very glittery polish (here is a link to the item), and some wonderful metal dots (here is a link to the store listing).
The polish contains small and medium hex glitter, and applied quite nicely!! There was a decent amount of glitter on the brush after every dip, and it distributed across the nail quite easily. I think this was 2ish coats of the glitter over Cover Girl Nail Slicks in Citrus Punch:
For the metal studs (dots, as I call them) I simply pressed them on top of the still-tacky lacquer, smothered a layer of top coat over them, and voila! Simple, easy and beautiful nail art! According to the web page, they are made from aluminum, and are 3mm in diameter. There is quite a decent amount of these in each bag, so they will last for a while.
I probably wouldn't purchase this particular polish when I run out, as the colour combination really isn't my style, but I didn't find anything wrong with the polish at all. In fact I was quite pleased with how the glitter applied and how much of it the polish contained.
Now for the nail dots... I adore these!! I think they are quite wonderful, and can be used to make very interesting nail art. I could definitely see myself wanting to purchase more of these after they have run out!! :D
I hope that you enjoyed this review, and that you have a wonderful day!!
(P.S., there is an image on the right hand side of my blog linking to their website, and it also lists a code (RA7X31) to receive 7% off of your purchase).
