Purple and Pink Easter Manicure - With Pysanky

Thursday, April 05, 2012

Good afternoon dear readers!

Here is another Easter manicure.  I am holding a pysanka I made (Ukrainian Easter egg dyed in patterns using beeswax).  These photos represent two of my favourite hobbies! :D

Please excuse the wounds.  :(

I used Essence Break Through as a base, then painted designs with pink acrylic paint.  I then coated it with China Glaze Fast Forward top coat.

Have a wonderful day!! :D

  13. Nice nails and pysanka! A friend of mine makes those, but I don't think I could-- looks so intricate and intimidating. I'd probably end up with egg smashed everywhere, lol!

@ Lindsey R: Thank you so much!! They take some practice, but they are so fun to make!!! I really suggest it! :D I've broken a couple, but I remove the inside of the egg first unlike some people.
