Fangorn Forest - Franken

Monday, January 23, 2012

Good afternoon, dear readers! :D

I hope that everyone is doing well and that you had a great weekend!

Today's swatch is a franken I made called Fangorn Forest (I was asking my sister whether to call it Enchanted Forest of Forbidden forest, and she said "Fangorn" and I was like "aww yeah!").  Love me some Tolkien!

Anyhoo, here it is:

Now I will say this, it looks much better in real life!  There is more depth to the polish when it is right in front of you.

I hope you enjoy! :D

Just so you know, I think a large part of my blog from now on will be about frankens.  These are seriously fun to make and wear!!  I will still have regular swatches and nail art, but this is definitely a permanent addition to the mix! :D

Take care and I hope that everyone has a wonderful evening.  ^-^

-Ashesela

(P.S., please excuse the dry skin and the leftover polish stuck on it... I tried to make a Chinese New Year manicure earlier today but it was a huge, messy, HIDEOUS fail.  XD)

I don't own this particular China Glaze, but this looks like a great dupe for Emerald Sparkle :)

  23. I don't usually see the "mess" people make until they point it out. Lol... Then I got back to look at the pictures, and I'm like... "still don't see it", or "Ohhhh, there is a mess on there".

I still don't see the mess on your fingers, but I must say... This color is gorgeous!
You sound so excited about your frankens, I think I might try to make some. :-)
